This FMEA Training Course is based on the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J1739 and the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) 3rd Edition FMEA Process. Learn how to improve reliability and successfully implement FMEA in your Organization.
Consultation or Workshops are designed to provide Product & Process Engineers a structured approach that helps identify design or process deficiencies earlier in the product development process. The workshops will give the student “hands on” practice (on real projects) along with instruction on how to correctly and efficiently perform an FMEA. FMEA Software templates are available.

- 1-Day FMEA Workshop – Overview and Introduction to the FMEA Methodology. This introduction is primarily focused on teaching Product & Process FMEA’s.
- 2-Day FMEA Workshop – Learn the FMEA Methodology. This course is primarily focused on teaching all the steps in the FMEA methodology.
FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis): Workshop Objective
A “typical” FMEA Training Workshop is 1 or 2 days, which combines classroom training with focused “break-out” sessions working on real and simulated FMEA projects. Both Product and Process FMEA’s are thoroughly explained. Note: The 2nd focuses mostly on real FMEA Projects for the Client. This can be customized to fit the client’s needs.
The emphasis in this Workshop focuses on the step-by-step “How-to’s” of FMEA so participants walk away with confidence and enthusiasm using the FMEA Process presented.
